Welcome to the Rocky Point Civic Association
In
order to keep the Rocky Point community well informed, we have
created a web site that will provide useful links. Navigation is simple--just click on
the link or image that you wish to visit and you are there! Bookmark
any pages that are of particular use, for example the link to "Contact Your Elected Officials" is a great site
to bookmark. The Rocky Point Civic Association strongly recommends
you use the addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail
links provided on that page as often as you like. Click
here to contact the Rocky Point Civic
Association President, Drew
Martin, with any questions or concerns
you may have.
The Rocky Point Civic Association is a member
of the Affiliated Brookhaven Civic Association (ABCO)
and the Rocky Point Revitalization and Beautification
Association. ABCO
is a 28-year old Civic Association Umbrella Group serving all areas
of Brookhaven Township. ABCO's interests are numerous, ranging
from land use and planning, environmental preservation, environmental
protection and remediation, graffiti, to sign proliferation to
name just a few. ABCO is also interested in good government issues.
Dues
are Due FOR 2008
Civic Membership Secretary Linda Cathcart
will collect dues at the next Civic Association meeting. All
members who have not paid their dues for the calendar year 2008 must
pay their dues to remain members in good standing. If you have
a star on your monthly newsletter you received through the mail,
your membership has expired and you will need to see renew. Please
complete the membership form that is available online
and forward your dues payment as soon as possible. Dues are just
$10 per person and ONLY $15 per family for the entire
year. Take time NOW to
join. Investing in your community is a "good thing!"
CurbY--Town
of Brookhaven Recycling
Effective
January 1, 2002, Waste Management will be picking up leaves and
brush. Therefore, it is imperative that the guidelines (bagging
leaves and bundling
branches) are followed.
The U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven

selected energy technologies. The Laboratory is operated by Brookhaven
Science Associates, a not-for-profit research management company, under
contract with the U.S. Department of Energy. Visit the Lab to find
